Senior Special Agent Derek Morgan

Morgan is and thinks of himself as Gideon's right hand man. He is an expert in obsessional crimes. Can often be seen making humorous note of Reid's genius or flirting with AV Tech Penelope Garcia. The latter is treated as a non-serious non-romantic activity. He once did 18 months undercover, which he mentioned in episode 1x08 ("Natural Born Killer"). He once insisted on staying with a woman whose car had been rigged to explode, saying he wouldn't leave until it was defused. Though Gideon considered the act stupid, he also admitted that he respects Morgan and never said Morgan's actions were wrong. In that same episode, Morgan said he had bomb squad experience.
